All good things must come to an end and today's lift out marks the end of the boating season at PCYC. Thank you to the crew at PCYC for another successful haul-out.

PLEASE NOTE: The Marina will close at 4:00 pm on October 09. All power & sail boats should be out of the water at that time as there will be no security.

We hope you have enjoyed your summer at Pointe du Chene Yacht Club & we look forward to seeing you next year..

Jim has been an active member of the sailing community for many years.  With the PCYC he served on the Board of Directors and represented the Marina on the Board of the Pointe de Chene Harbour Authority.

With CPS, he was a Squadron and District Commander for 8 years.  He served on the National Board as District Commander, Atlantic.   He was the Atlantic Regions representative on the Recreational Boating Committee.    In addition, Jim helped develop the CPS Seamanship Course and instructed various other CPS courses over his long affiliation with them.  Jim will receive his National Award in Charlottetown at the CPS AGM at the end of October.  He very much appreciates the honor and we suspect still has a course or two left in him!
